Prospector Drilling & Tool Co., Inc. (PDTC) is a professional services provider based out of Alvin, Texas. For over 20 years the principals and consultants have been involved in providing services to the solid waste management industry across Texas and New Mexico.

Stefan Stamoulis - Founder and Chairman

Stefan Stamoulis’ entrepreneurial experience began in 1993 when he founded Hydrogeologic/Environmental Testing (H/ET) to compete in the municipal solid waste industry. The business has continued to thrive for seventeen years, during which time H/ET and Mr. Stamoulis have performed countless projects across the United States. The company services include premier well monitoring, gas probe installation and groundwater and gas sampling for hundreds of customers operating facilities nationwide, and H/ET continually provides cost effective solutions to its clients. In addition to H/ET, Mr. Stamoulis founded Prospector Drilling and Tool Company with his wife, Sandra. Mr. Stamoulis has developed multiple innovative tools and devices and currently has three patents pending in the U.S. Patent Office.

In addition to his business ventures, Stefan sits on two Boards. He is a board member of the Transitional Learning Center, a leading brain rehabilitation hospital in Galveston, Texas. Mr. Stamoulis also sits as a board member of the Moody Endowment in Galveston, Texas.

Mr. Stamoulis is a graduate of Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth Texas (BBA), Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas (BS), and Pepperdine University in Malibu, California (MBA).

Tim Moore - President and COO

Tim Moore’s experience spans over 30 years in international business and service with the U.S. government and industry. He possesses significant global expertise in complex operations, organizational growth, and strategic planning. As a former COO of an operating division of a public corporation, Tim managed diverse business operations, including program management, production planning, customer service, and system engineering for customers around the globe. During his tenure, company annual revenue increased from $13 million to over $180 million.

Prior to joining industry, Tim served over twenty years in the US Army, retiring as a lieutenant colonel. His assignments included duty as a battalion commander in the First Cavalry Division and combat duty in Somalia.

Tim is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley (BA), with master’s degrees from Golden Gate University (MPA), the U.S. Army School of Advanced Military Studies (MMAS), and Pepperdine University (MBA).

Sandra Stamoulis - Founder and CFO

From the start of her career, Mrs. Stamoulis has been an entrepreneur. After experiencing great success for many years in the real estate market, she owned and operated a thriving retail business for over ten years. She chose to take a new path and joined H/ET operations in 2000, subsequently co-founding Prospector Drilling & Tool Co., Inc. in 2001.
